ADSS is mainly divided into two types: layered type and central tube type.
1. Layer-stranded structure: Although the diameter and weight of the layer-stranded structure are relatively large, it is easy to obtain a safe optical fiber excess length, which has advantages in medium and large-span applications.
After making a certain pitch of the fiber loose tube on the strong part of ADSS, the inner sheath is extruded, and then the appropriate spinning yarn is wound together according to the required tensile strength, and then the PE or AT sheath is extruded. set. Since the cable core can be filled with ointment, but the resistance of the ointment is small, when ADSS has a large span and a large arc, the cable core is easy to slide, and the pitch of the loose tube is easy to change. The loose tube can be fixed to the center strength member and dry cable core by suitable means.
2. Central tube structure: ADSS with a central tube structure is easy to obtain a small diameter, and the load capacity is small; the weight is also relatively light, but there is a limit to the excess length of the optical fiber. In the PBT (or other appropriate material) tube, according to the required tensile strength, ADSS is placed in a material such as PBT filled with water-blocking ointment, and a certain wrapping is properly spun, and then the PE sheath is extruded.
ADSS have 12core, 24core, 48core, 96core, 144core, 288core. There are two jacket types: single jacket or double jacket (PE jacket). The span of adss are 80m, 100m, 120m, 150m, 200m.
